This website describes the genealogy research services we offer and lets you request a free consultation. Research is carried out by members of our team, who may be employees or independent researchers working with us.

Free consultation

Your first consultation is free and places you under no obligation. Submitting the form does not create a client relationship or commit you to any project.

Research engagements

If you decide to go ahead, we will agree on the scope, fees, and timeline with you in writing before any paid work begins. That agreement governs the project. The hourly rates on this website are our current rates; the number of hours for your project is estimated after your consultation, and you approve it before work begins.

No guaranteed results

Genealogy depends on records that survive. Some were never created, and others have been lost or destroyed. We cannot guarantee that a particular ancestor, fact, or connection will be found. We will tell you early if a research question looks unlikely to be answered, and every conclusion we give you will be supported by the sources we cite.

Not legal or medical advice

Estate, heir, and kinship research provides documented evidence that you, your lawyer, or an executor can rely on. It is not legal advice. Likewise, DNA interpretation addresses ancestry and relationships only and is not medical or health advice.

Your research reports

Reports and family history books we prepare for you are yours to keep, copy, and share with your family. We may keep copies for our records, and we will not publish your family's information without your permission.
